On March 22-24, the UAW held its Special Convention on Collective Bargaining at Cobo Center. More than 1,200 delegates, alternates and guests attended the convention. The delegates are UAW members representing workers from all sectors of the union - including auto, aerospace, agricultural implement, higher education, gaming, public sector and other others - from across the United States and Canada. They will deliberate and vote on an omnibus resolution that sets the union's overall bargaining agenda for workers in various industries and sectors of the economy during the next four years.
